Queensland says no to single-use plastics

The Queensland Government has finally rallied against plastic pollution and its potential harm to the environment. Single use plastic bags will now be banned, and a new 10c container deposit scheme will be put forth from July 2018 onwards.  It’s time for New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia to step up and take plastic bags off the menu for marine life too.
