ACTIVE INGREDIENT

Hypochlorous Acid: Powerful & Safe

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is the most effective disinfectant in the chlorine family and the active ingredient in bleach. However, when produced via electrolysis, it is safer, gentler, and free from the harsh effects of traditional bleach-based products.

Unlike conventional disinfectants, HOCl acts faster, penetrates pathogens more effectively, and leaves no toxic fumes or residues.

It provides hospital-grade disinfection while remaining gentle on skin and surfaces, making it a trusted choice for healthcare, food safety, and water treatment.

eWater is HACCP certified, ensuring compliance with stringent food safety standards for use in food preparation and handling environments.

This certification confirms its suitability for maintaining hygiene in kitchens, foodservice operations, and food processing facilities.

  • Electrolysed water is created by passing an electric current through a solution of water and salt. This process, known as electrolysis, splits the water and salt molecules into two distinct solutions: an alkaline solution (sodium hydroxide, NaOH) and an acidic solution (hypochlorous acid, HOCl).

These solutions are known to be non-toxic and biodegradable, leaving no harmful residues. It is safe for users, reducing the risk of skin irritations and respiratory issues. Additionally, it is environmentally friendly, reducing the need for harsh chemical cleaners and minimising waste. Learn more

  • HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a systematic preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical, physical hazards, and more in production processes that can cause the finished product to be unsafe. It designs measures to reduce these risks to a safe level and is used at all stages of food production and preparation processes including packaging, distribution, etc.

eWater is certified by HACCP International for its Electrolysed Water Cleaning and Sanitising Systems. These systems are approved under the HACCP International certification scheme, which evaluates products based on their contribution to food safety and compatibility with food safety management systems.
