Auvil Fruit Company workers have been stunned by the effectiveness of electrolysed water, they call it "magic water".
They use it for everything from cleaning bins and equipment, to protect against moulds and pathogens on the fruit itself, ensuring that they can provide a quality product without the hazards of dangerous chemical solutions.

A U.S. Department of Agriculture study report has called Electrolysed water "shockingly powerful".
Walt Hough has been with Auvil for 38 years, he said that he had felt frustrated that Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans did not offer any guarantee that critical contamination points were being effectively protected, and that reliance on solutions containing chlorine is near total in the industry.
