What is water electrolysis technology?
This technology, uses a mild saltwater solution and electrical current to produce two streams of electrolysed water—one negative for cleaning and the other positive for sanitising and disinfecting. You may also hear the technology referred to as “electrolysed water.”
Can the eWater cleaner be used in professional cleaning?

How can we use eWater in the food service industry?
eWater technology literally "shines" in the food service sector. It can be used for all the general cleaning needs mentioned above as well as food pre-areas, floors, walls, and appliances. But it can also be used to safely and effectively clean fruits and vegetables. Further, in conjunction with eWater Sanitiser, it can be used as part of a complete hygiene management program for food service facilities, ensuring food products served to your customer are safe, healthy, and ready to eat.
Are the eWater disinfectant comparable to conventional disinfectants?
Yes. In fact, our eWater disinfectant is now listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) as a commercial-grade, hard-surface disinfectant with the proven ability to kill coronaviruses, including COVID-19.
What is anolyte solution?
The positively charged solution mentioned earlier creates an anolyte solution. This is a naturally occurring solution called Hypochlorous Acid, capable of killing a wide variety of microorganisms and pathogens, such as those causing COVID-19.
We hear eWater is also effective at eliminating biofilms. What are biofilms?
These are a collection of thousands, even millions, of bacteria growing together under a film-like substance. The film surrounding them is made from secretions from the bacteria. While this is a very thin covering, it can be tough to eradicate. eWater disinfectants have proved they can eliminate biofilm.
We are concerned about the chemical residue some cleaning solutions leave on surfaces. Does this technology leave a residue?
No, eWater products do not leave a chemical residue. But let's explore this topic a bit further. Some traditional cleaning solutions do leave a chemical residue. This residue attracts new soils to a surface quickly and is referred to as “re-soiling.” In the food-service industry, chemical residue could be mixed with food ingredients. This can have serious health ramifications.
eWater products are biodegradable; but what does biodegradable mean?
This is an excellent question. This term has been bantered around for so many years, it has become confusing, and many people no longer know what it means. If a product is biodegradable, it means it will eventually break down to its essential components and blend back in with the earth without leaving any toxins behind.
What does on-site and on-demand mean?
eWater products are designed to be generated and dispensed at your facility, on-site. These can be stand-alone, installed directly over a faucet, for instance, or reticulating. On-demand references the fact that eWater is available whenever needed.
In the food-service industry, we must meet HACCP standards. Can this technology help us meet these standards?
So we are all on the same page, HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point. It is a management system used in the food-service industry to ensure that the food we eat is safe and healthy, bearing no ingredients that can harm health. As to your question, yes, eWater is accredited by HACCP, as well as Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) and Australian Organics.
Finally, is water electrolysis technology proven?
